Trust would like to honour a previous member of its field team who lost his life yesterday (21/12/2017) in Hama, Syria. Okba Al-Aliwi, 32, graduated from the University of Aleppo in 2012 as an Engineer and previously worked with Trust on projects in WASH and also health. Okba was a hardworking, talented and moral young man, leaving behind his pregnant wife who was also injured in the incident. He was a brother of five, three of whom have died in the conflict. We would like to offer our sincere condolences to his family from the whole of the Trust team and very much hopes to see an end to all such violence in Syria.
