Course Details:

Trust Consultancy & Development’s training workshop “Security Management” is designed to enable participants to identify the key requirements for managing security in an organizational framework and practice essential techniques in risk management and crisis response.

The training will rely on extensive field case studies, the current humanitarian environment, and the security management practices used by humanitarian bodies internationally. This intensive training workshop aims at placing safety and security management at the core of humanitarian programs, given the highly volatile environments in which aid agencies work.

At the end of this training, the participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of key security management skills,
  • Use skills appropriate for the setting and program goals,
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively in reviewing and enhancing security management practices and procedures,
  • Evaluate personal performance and the performance of others,
  • Communicate effectively to different audiences using appropriate media.
