Training in Qualitative Data Collections: Focus Group Discussions took place in Idleb, Syria from 17-18 March 2017 with trainer Abdo Al-Mostafa. 24 participants from SAMS, Hand in Hand, and Trust joined the two day programme and learnt about different M+E tools (both qualitative and quantitative.
Over the two days trainer Abdo Al-Mostafa took the participants through the stages of FGDs and the skills that must be known to the facilitator including how to deal with different groups of people. The participants left the training with a better understanding of how to improve the design and quality of programs and projects and ensure that data and information collected is of high quality.
