Third-Party Monitoring | WASH and Winterization Project in IDP Camps in Northern Syria

Project Presentation

Trust conducted a TPM assignment to monitor the delivery and installation of latrines in 3 IDP camps in northern Syria. The primary objective of the assignment was to verify the implementation of planned activities and inform future project implementation from an outcome- and impact-oriented perspective.

In order to address this objective, Trust developed a methodology to capture the pre-, during- and post-installation phases of the project through field visits to the project sites. The field team conducted 9 observation checklists with photos, 8 KIIs with key stakeholders, 290 household surveys and 6 beneficiary FGDs, with an emphasis on capturing the perspectives of women and people with disabilities throughout the project. A comprehensive final report was produced with recommendations for WASH interventions going forward.
