Research Assessment of Cash and Voucher Assistance and In-Kind Support in Northwest Syria

Trust was contracted by CARE International, Turkey to gather evidence on the comparative aid diversion risk profiles of Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and in-kind support in the context of Northwest Syria. The aim of the exercise was to build on data, gather evidence, and provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies and concrete measures that can be adopted and shared by different agencies in their CVA programming. Trust conducted an in-depth desk review and KIIs with community representatives, aid-workers, CSO organizations and other stakeholders.
