Real-Time Evaluation

The main objective of the RTE was to provide real-time feedback to the organization and the project partners, lesson learned for the continuation of the project and to seek out the views of project beneficiaries on the quality and appropriateness of the response. It will also determine in an objective manner the progress of project outcome indicators to inform the project implementation team on the status of planned milestones. The evaluation was guided by the OECD/DAC and ALNAP criteria for evaluating humanitarian action of Relevance/Appropriateness, Effectiveness/Coverage, Efficiency, Coherence, Coordination, and Connectedness (links with Sustainability criteria). The methodology was designed following a participatory and improvement-oriented approach to provide the organization with real time feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
