Trust Consultancy & Development was contracted by World Vision International (WVI) to conduct an endline evaluation of their humanitarian response providing protection assistance to vulnerable refugees in Turkey. The main objective of this evaluation was to assess the response using the OECD’s evaluation criteria of effectiveness, relevance, efficiency, sustainability, and impact, in conjunction with specific objective and outcome indicators. This evaluation aimed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of project design, strategy, and implementation, and provide a set of lessons learned and recommendations to inform future programming. To conduct this evaluation, Trust used a mixed-method approach, analyzing data collected through a desk review, beneficiary surveys, IDIs, and KIIs. The methodology and all tools were designed with sensitivity to protection-related issues as a key consideration.
