Post Distribution Monitoring | Remote Capacity Strengthening Project in Syria

In April and June 2017, Trust conducted 2 post-distribution monitoring projects with Samaritan’s Purse in Syria. The first project was about winterization kits and was implemented by one of its local partners, and the second project was about Hygiene vouchers and was implemented by another local partner.

Research conducted for this assessment consisted of a secondary data desk review and primary data collection including household surveys, key informant interviews and focus group discussions. Surveys were analysed using descriptive analysis tech­niques and focus group discussions and key informant interviews were analysed using a themat­ic analysis approach. Based on the key findings, recommendations for future humanitarian assistance interventions were suggested.
