In order to examine the barriers of localization in humanitarian responses in NWS, Trust is acting as a partner for the development of a methodology and is working as a medium for Concern Beyond Barriers in NWS by acquiring all local approvals, identifying and developing an outreach schedule with in-country stakeholders, as well as providing translation between English and local languages (Turkish and Arabic). Lastly, Trust is providing regular and timely updates as well as supporting and co-facilitating workshops with local and international actors. Specific responsibilities are as follows:

Providing regular and timely updates to the Concern Beyond Barriers Team

Assist in the procurement of a local advisory group (LAG)

Procure all necessary local approvals to be able to conduct the study

Provide translation of study instruments, materials, and data

Provide any necessary support to finalize in-country visit plans and workshop venue

Conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and workshops “
