Trust Consultancy & Development was contracted by SPARK Turkey to conduct an end of project satisfaction survey for its MADAD-funded project, which seeks to enable crisis-affected Syrians and local youths to enjoy access to higher education and empowerment opportunities. The specific objectives of the project included: to improve Turkish language skills, to enhance access to bachelor and higher vocational university programs, to improve support services such as language and Psycho-Social Support (PSS), and to provide entrepreneurship training, support, and employment. Trust was contracted to assess the satisfaction of beneficiaries, and gather data on their perceptions, challenges, and feedback for SPARK to improve its future service delivery.
Trust conducted 752 satisfaction surveys and 30 In-depth interviews with beneficiaries to assess their response to SPARK’s programming. Furthermore, Trust conducted 12 key informant interviews with beneficiaries and staff who participated in the “start-up” component of SPARK’s program, which involved establishing their own business or enterprise with guidance from SPARK. Trust provided SPARK with a final report that identified levels of satisfaction and a list of recommendations for SPARK’s future implementation.
