External Evaluation of ‘Building Resilience through Initiatives Defining Growth Potential of Economic Solutions for Syrians in Turkey (BRIDGES)’

Project Presentation

DRC’s BRIDGES project focused on providing long term solutions to serve the needs of Syrians and other refugees and migrants currently living in Turkey. The project was implemented in five Turkish provinces (Hatay, Sanliurfa, Kilis, Mersin, and Kahramanmaras) using an integrated approach aimed at developing social self-reliance through counselling, information provision, and access to transferable skills and economic self-reliance through access to technical skills and income generation opportunities linking with the private sector. In partnership with TANGO International, Trust conducted an evaluation of these activities in all locations of activity. Qualitative data collection included 31 KIIs and 8 FGDs spread across all five project areas to assess the relevance and appropriateness of the project design, implementation, and performance.
