Evaluation of ‘Scaling Up Flexible Mental Health and Support for Conflict Affected Syrians’

Project Presentation

Client Redacted has been working in Syria to provide emergency health, nutritional physical rehabilitation, mental health, and psychosocial support across the whole of Syria. Trust was contracted to perform a mid-term evaluation to identify key outcomes of interventions compared to the program’s Theory of Change (ToC) and the successes, gaps, and constraints in the project implementation. OECD/DAC criteria was applied to develop the research and a mixed-methods framework used, consisting of both qualitative and quantitative methods. Trust also documented the best practices and lessons learned relevant to the project design and implementation and used these findings to provide the client with recommendations on any needed revisions to the project, Theory of Change, Logic Model and the Performance Measurement Framework.
