Charly Pierluigi
Researcher, Evaluator and Trainer, specialized in Quality & Accountability.

Charly is an experienced aid worker with over 10 years’ experience in the sector. He first worked in emergency contexts as a WASH project manager, before taking on operational coordination roles at headquarters and in the field, covering a range of crises, particularly in the Middle East. After several years in project coordination, he moved into quality management as a project management, monitoring and evaluation specialist for the Handicap International Federation. He joined Groupe URD in 2022 as a Researcher, Evaluator and Trainer, specialized in Quality & Accountability. As Groupe URD is one of the copyright holders of the Core Humanitarian Standard and the author of the Quality COMPASS, Charly represented the organisation in the process of revising the standard between 2022 and 2023. He was part of the working group which oversaw the consultations and rewrote the revised standard. He regularly has the opportunity to give training sessions on project evaluations, based in particular on the CHS framework.

She is also pursuing an MSc in Gender, Peace, and Security at The London School of Economics and Political Science, blending academic expertise with her dedication to capacity building and meaningful dialogue.
